Baron Oilfield Supply – has been in existence since 1986. It’s founder Mr. Barry Smith, began operations in Grande Prairie, Alberta, as an independent supplier of product to the oil industry. Mr. Smith’s vision, tenacity, and focus on making "Service" his biggest and most important commodity has lead to the expansion of Baron Oilfield from a single location to branch offices across Alberta and British Columbia. The Grande Prairie location still serves as the Head Office today.

With the growth of the company Baron has added diversity not only in its product offering but also with the people Mr. Smith has chosen to represent his company. Today we can boast over 500 years of cumulative experience among our employees, with expertise ranging from experience in oil, gas, petro-chemical, pulp mill and industrial products. The "Can Do,Will Do"attitude that gave the company its meager beginnings has been instilled and promoted in each employee regardless of position.
